Currently, residents of multi-tenant buildings have little chance to take part in the energy transition as only about 1% of such buildings have PV systems today. In response, Metergrid has built an end-to-end solution that enables landlords to generate solar power on their buildings and sell it to tenants. Metergrid standardises the entire process from project management, to installation, live operations and billing; significantly reducing the workload associated with Mieterstrom projects.
By making Mieterstrom simple and scalable, Metergrid allows locally produced solar electricity to be consumed where it's generated; lowering energy costs for tenants and increasing returns for property owners.
